Busy Bee sneak peeks . . . I have a super sweet image from The Graphics Fairy ~ it's my current favorite and you can see below that it has sparked my creativity! The antique Paris Rose perfume label was perfect for a lavender sachet pillow for starters. (clic the pic to see it on ebay!!) Karen always has lots of images to inspire us and she is so very sweet to share them!

I have been busy finishing some custom orders but have so many things that I've sewn this past month that I need to get listed! My next giveaway starts today and it's for another darling stocking! I love this medium size which has so many cute ways to display it like hanging from a peg shelf, stair post, chair back, cabinet knob, etc. It is 12-1/2" diagonally from ruffle to jingle toe and features a sweet image of a Victorian girl in her pretty pink ruffley lacey bonnet, originally painted over 100 years ago by the beloved artist Frances Brundage. She is printed onto white cotton and along with pretty pink on pink damask stripes, bitty roses and dainty lace trims, is fashioned into this cute stocking! Finishing touches include pink satin ribbon bows, parchment roses, a rhinestone heart charm and a happy silvertone jingle at the tippy toe :-)

Today I am sharing with you some more of the pretty china pieces a very dear friend send me to care for! Am I not the luckiest ducky in the pond or what!!
The most charming Paragon Teapot has a delightful wreath of cottage garden flowers ~ roses, iris, tulips, anemonies, asters ~ circling around the upper half and lid. I simply adore it with it's dainty scallops, swirly handle and painted golden touches.


This huge box had me reaching into a Lifetime supply :-) of packing popcorn and gasping out loud as I carefully opened each piece and matched the cups up with the saucers. Eleven exquisite Paragon cup and saucer sets in a rainbow of pastel sherbet shades with rich black! Oh my!
I'll showcase more of them in another tuesday post.

I chose this pretty blue one today with it's Spring tulips and jonquils. How artfully the flowers are arranged in the cup and a sweet little arrangement on the saucer! The flowers base is a transfer design with painted details and all the black is carefully handpainted around everything! The artists must definitely drink decaffinated tea to have such a steady hand ;-)

Isn't it interesting how the design does not lose perspective when looking into the cup - it looks like a plate! The bottom mark is PARAGON ~ By appointment H.M. QUEEN & H.M. QUEEN MARY ~ Fine Bone China ENGLAND Reg

Ahhhh look at this sweet teapot! It is marked TUSCAN Fine Bone China Made In England and has a Crown and Wings motif. It is totally handpainted from the pretty pink posies and minty green leaves right down to all those little gold dots! Wowzers is it gorgeous and I absolutely LOVE it!

I made the trio of tea theme handmades below and along with some more they will be in my Ebay store later today! There's a cute "Pincushion Confection" made from a vintage teacup, rose teacup accent pillow and another featuring a graceful Victorian Harrison Fisher lady enjoying a cuppa!

A NEW COMPUTER & A NEW GIVEAWAY #7

I am the ecstatic owner of a brand new computer :-) My ancient ole guy has been coddled, updated, debugged, pampered, debugged, tuned-up, loved & hated, debugged and debugged again and again but finally decided not to wake up one morning as he quietly drifted off to wherever old computers go when they die.
My new GIRL is SO FAST and I can now visit my favorite blogs without getting discouraged. It took almost 5 minutes for the old GUY to open a page! I am so out of the loop and looking forward to some FUN blog hopping again!
And to celebrate I have another GIVEAWAY for you! If you know me from eBay you know how I love to make Christmas Stockings with VINTAGE IMAGES. I made this one for you with a pair of sweet ANGELS and PINK ROSES and think it turned out so darling!

GREEN DAISY has pretty, long stemmed springtime Shasta Daisies on a minty green base. I LOVE greens and this shade is particularly beautiful! Perfect for a cuppa spearmint tea ;-)


I absolutely adore violets! My thumb is green when it comes to indoor African Violets and the wild violets grow like welcome weeds in our yard. They bloom with the lily of the valley and together they make the sweetest little bouquets. PRIMROSE has tiny scattered violets mixed with yellow primrose for the perfect color compliment. The charming scalloped top edge and dainty handle make this design a favorite for sure!


Ahhhh MELODY! A pretty mix of petite asters in shades of pink, blue and yellow on a base of tealy green . . . Same curvy rim, handle and golden accents as Primrose and I'm thinking of green tea with sugar in this cup today!
