I am linking up with these fun tea parties today so be sure to stop by each and see their pretties.
* MARTHA and TERRI for Teacup Tuesday
* Wanda Lee and Pam for Teapot and Tea Things Tuesday
* Sandi for Teatime Tuesday
GREEN DAISY has pretty, long stemmed springtime Shasta Daisies on a minty green base. I LOVE greens and this shade is particularly beautiful! Perfect for a cuppa spearmint tea ;-)
I absolutely adore violets! My thumb is green when it comes to indoor African Violets and the wild violets grow like welcome weeds in our yard. They bloom with the lily of the valley and together they make the sweetest little bouquets. PRIMROSE has tiny scattered violets mixed with yellow primrose for the perfect color compliment. The charming scalloped top edge and dainty handle make this design a favorite for sure!
Ahhhh MELODY! A pretty mix of petite asters in shades of pink, blue and yellow on a base of tealy green . . . Same curvy rim, handle and golden accents as Primrose and I'm thinking of green tea with sugar in this cup today!
I have made some new tea inspired pillows that will be listed on ebay this morning and invite you to take a peek by clicking the photo.

Hi Lynn...
ReplyDeleteOhhh...your Shelly Chintz teacups are simply divine, my friend! They really are some of the prettiest teacups that I've ever seen! I love all three patterns, but I think that Primrose is my favorite! I just adore the pretty lavender and yellow violets and primrose flowers! Ohhh...and I can't forget that lovely scalloped edge on the teacup either! What a fabulous collection of chintz teacups...thank you for sharing it with us! I also really enjoyed your pillows...they're gorgeous!!!
Warmest wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design

ReplyDeleteway you put them together is always lovely and feminine too!!
Beautiful teacups, I only have a few myself, some bought new and some 'handed down' All safe in a glass fronted cabinet.
ReplyDeleteThey are all so cute, but I just adore the first one.

Wonderful post, Lynn. I agree there is something very magical about Shelley Chintz. The patterns just seem to age beautifully with the passage of time. Teacup lovers should check out Diane Sedo, a contributing editor with Romantic Homes Mag. She has the most splendid ideas for a party. I love her serving trays filled with those 2die4 tea tarts!! Her entertaining ideas are a pure art form.
