PINK SATURDAY & GiveAway Winner

Saturday greetings to my pink loving bloggerdoodle buddies!I'm participating in Pink Saturday this week and send a big bouquet of thank you's to Beverly of
HOW SWEET THE SOUND
for hosting the pink party each week!!
But before I proceed to the pinkness I'm announcing the winner of my Christmas In July Stocking GiveAway :-) There were 397 entries and the winning number picked from my popcorn bowl was 381 . . . Sandy of Romantique Inspirations. Congratulations Sandy! Please contact me with your shipping information and I'll have her ready to go!

I collect antique mohair teddy bears and this girl always makes me smile! Doesn't she have a sweet funny face and big ears! She is about 100 years old and I've always had her wearing this baby bonnet, handmade knitted bib with pink ribbon and embroidered flowers and crocheted pink booties. She has always been selfconcious of her big feet and doesn't realize that is a GOOD thing with old teds!

Well now . . . she could almost fit her feeties in this pink vintage baby shoe planter but they sure would hurt!

Here is a sweet pillow previously sold on ebay featuring an adorable pink rose stripe fabric, vintage doily with cutout center to frame the bouquet of handmade pink ribbon roses!

Something a little different - but sweet and pink! An antique pink enamel child's chamber pot! See the pretty hand painted daisies and violets . . . when ya gotta go it's nice to go in style - hehe

A trio of dainty pink velvet vintage millinery roses simply displayed in a shabby white gesso decorated frame and a bit of vintage lace.

And the last items to showcase today are a pair of previously sold door hanger sachets aka Door Charmers! Long and lean featuring vintage lady images, lace and of course handmade pink ribbon roses! Perfect for displaying on a door knob or anywhere you please . . . more of these coming soon :-)
Thank you for sharing a part of your day with me and hope to see you again soon!

Happy Anniversary to Me & GiveAway Extended

Hello my blogger friends!!
I'm back and hope you haven't forgotten me :-)
I can't believe that my last post was 2 weeks ago! Time sure flies when you're having fun they say . . . but when you are NOT having fun it sure drags!! I've been sick and then got food poisoning so have been having a yukkity yukko of a time :-( And to top it off I broke my glasses and wasn't able to get out to get new ones . . . oh when it rains it pours!

Anywho ~ I am better now and have lots of catching up to do . . . email box is overflowing and Victoria Rose Cottage custom orders are backed up . . . but my tummy is no longer doing flip flops so I'm raring to go!
I am extending the deadline for my CHRISTMAS IN JULY STOCKING GIVEAWAY for a week so you now have til July 21st to enter!
And then another one will begin :-)))

Dave and I are celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary today! We met in January 1979 and were married 7 months later, July 14, 1979 . . . and they said it would never last :-) Actually, no one ever said that and I believe that my family loves Dave more than they love me HA!! He's one of those kind of people that everyone likes! Especially me!
I love the above picture of us and would give just about anything to still have those skinny arms ~ giggle . . .

My Dad passed away in March of that year so my younger brother Bobby gave me away! Bobby was only 45 when he lost a 6 month fight with cancer 10 years ago and is now my sweet Guardian Angel . . . .

My Mom and Dad were both only children so our immediate family is kinda small with no aunts or uncles or cousins. This pic shows my Grandma Blanche, Bobby, Me, Dave, my Mom, my sisters Cindy and Lori.
Thanks so much for sharing some time with me today!!

Hugs and Smiles,

Lynn
