Celebrating Spring & Pretty New Things!

Happy Friday Everyone!
To quote Mr Rogers "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood" here in my area of Illinois! Our 24" snowfall has all melted and the light dusting we got the other day is also history. There are bits and bobs of greenery popping up everywhere . . . daffodils, tulips, lily of the valley, crocus, peonies, flowering bush budlettes and the dreaded creeping charlie (ground ivy) which is the scorn of my gardening existence!
I have been so busy making pretty new things for you and just never seem to get around to listing them HA! Lots of new goodies have been sent over to Victoria Rose Cottage but may not show up for awhile and ebay listings start friday with Buy it Nows and below are some sneak peeks!
Please click my sidebar ebay link and perhaps find something you would like to have for your own home sweet home :-)

I'd love to have you check out my last post for info on my latest giveaway! It's a cutie :-)
Thank you so much for visiting today and I wish you all a wonderful first weekend of Spring!

Bunches o' Bowls for White Wednesday

A big THANK YOU goes to Kathleen of ~ FADEDCHARM ~ for hosting White Wednesday! If you love all shades of white, cream, ivory, taupe, etc you must go and view all the creative bloggers!

While browsing thru one of my favorite antique haunts awhile back I came across stacks of these vintage white USA restaurant berry or veggie side bowls priced at 2 for 1.00. Hmmmm . . . I thought ~ such a deal but what could I use them for?? But as any good collector knows to never to pass up something that speaks to you! So quite a few of them came home with me!

I love the aged white with light crazing and the sweet scalloped edging. They have come in very handy for lots of things from sorting buttons to using as plant saucers. And I like the way they look just simply stacked . . .

And oh my! A birdie is nesting in one ~ a white birdie of course ;-)

I hope you enjoyed your visit today and just a reminder to check out my latest giveaway ~ it ends on the 12th so please Click HERE for the details!

Big Hugs and Smiles to one and all,
Lynn
