HOW SWEET THE SOUND
for hosting the party each week!!
I'd love to have you take a little detour and visit my 2nd giveaway post by clicking HERE!!
It ends on June 14th and YES it's Pink ;-))
Her dress ~ or pincushion part ~ is made from a pink satin trimmed with vintage laces. Isn't she sweet with her delicate features and dainty hands! And this is the only one I've ever seen with a music box inside!
From 1982 to 1995 I self published my cross stitch design patterns under the name Graph-It Arts. Back then the country look was hot but I still liked the more pastel shades of shabby cottage country!
This photo is a stitched model from the book "Sentimental Country #2" from 1990 and its always been one of my favorites with the pink and white patchwork quilt and teddy bear :-)
You can see it on the cover shown in an oak frame which I've since whitewashed.
My final item to showcase is one of my handmade sweet & petite shabby pink birdie pincushions! Isn't she the cutest thing!! This one will be listed on ebay tomorrow and I hope she will find a good home!
Thank you to all the pink peeps who visited me today and I'm going to try and visit everyone on the list this week!!

I collect vintage pincushions and love the ones that are handmade with porcelain "half dolls". This treasure I found last year and she is as lovely as can be! She's the largest one I've ever seen and measures 9" across!

Those are about the cutest pin cushions I have seen. I would feel bad about sticking a pin in it. You will make some lucky person very happy with your giveaway.
ReplyDeleteHello Lynn, I can remember when I used to cross-stitch all the time. I still today have all my thread, books and even some cloth. I often get the urge to go back and begin a project, but time seems to always get away from me. I don't think anything ever goes out of style as long as you love the item. Your work is always beautiful and you should showcase it with love. Happy Pink Saturday, Char

I enjoy all of your creations and have for as long as I have been on my computer (only 4 yrs) I am 79 and 4 years ago my children bought me this "puter" sat it in front of me and said ok mom it is yours and we will help you learn...Wow - if that was not scary for an old lady, but I love it. If I was more computer literate - I would have a blog, a website, etc. I have crafted all of my life nearly and am still at it and I love it. I am a jack-of-all-trades, but master of none. Have a great PS and I wish you always success. When I had my gift shop i was Glory Originals. My talent comes from my precious Lord, Hence I give the glory to God.....Pauline
